Dear Horse Owner

Murwillumbah Vet Clinic has been providing a wide range of veterinary services since 2003, to local residents including horse owners.

It is with regret we must advise you that we are ceasing to offer equine services from 1 November 2016.

This difficult decision to reduce our equine business, has been based on:

• Cost of maintaining and upgrading expensive equine diagnostic equipment to allow us to continue to practise up-to-date medicine and surgery of a high standard, is no longer justified by the income which is generated by offering this service;
• The need to assist farmers with cattle, sheep and alpacas as there are no other providers of this service in the local area;
• The new availability of mobile, equine-only specialists in the area.

Care for horses requiring diagnostic care, dental services, vaccinations, emergency care and ongoing management of health conditions, is available through:
